What is Camp College?
Camp College is an overnight weekend college access and information program that takes place during the summer on a NYS college campus. The weekend is geared toward upper level high school students (rising juniors and seniors).

Who should attend Camp College?
If you are a self-motivated, college-bound high school student and you are interested in planning for your journey after graduation, you should attend. Thinking you should attend college, but you’re unsure what you should be doing to get there or what your options might be? You should also attend!

How much does Camp College cost?

Camp College is free for all participants, however transportation to and from the host campuses is NOT provided.

Thanks to the generosity of the New York State Association for College Admission Counseling (NYSACAC), the support of a number of colleges and universities, community-based organizations, and individuals.

How do I attend Camp as a Student?

All students are required to have a chaperone (staff member) accompany them to and from the camp. Students must complete the student application. Students must also submit parental/guardian waivers to be accepted into the program

How do I get involved as a Camp Volunteer?

Chaperones: All students are required to have a chaperone (staff member) accompany them to and from the camp. While at Camp, chaperones become mentors and are expected to participate in all parts of the camp's activities in collaboration with other high school/CBO counselors and college admissions officers. Chaperones must complete the mentor application.

Mentors: Mentors are high school/CBO counselors and college admissions officers who volunteer their time and knowledge for the weekend. Mentors are expected to participate in all parts of the camp's activities in collaboration with other high school/CBO counselors and college admissions officers. Interested mentors must complete the mentor application.
