Professional admissions staff and student ambassadors (tour guides, admissions student employees, etc.) are encouraged to join us for the first in-person SLA conference since 2019!
 

Tentative Schedule (subject to change):

  • 9:30-10 AM | Check-in 
  • 10-10:15 AM | Welcome & announcements
  • 10:20 AM - 12 PM | Conference sessions
  • 12 PM-12:45 PM | Lunch
  • 12:50-1:35 PM | Conference sessions
  • 1:40-2:00 PM | Closing

Pricing:

  • Members: $40/staff member, includes 2 student registrations (plus $10 for each additional student over two allotted)
  • Non-Members: $50/staff member, includes 2 student registrations (plus $15 for each additional student over two allotted)
  • Refund policy: A full refund, minus a $20 cancellation fee, will be given for cancellations that occur on or before August 23, 2024. No refunds will be given after the refund deadline.


Conference Proposals

This year’s theme is “Learning and Leading Together” and we encourage interested professional and student staff to submit workshop proposals - either together or separately. We are seeking a wide range of topics including (but not limited to):

  • Student ambassador recruitment, training and retention
  • DEIA training for professional and student staff
  • Leadership development
  • Professional staff development for those who supervise student ambassadors
  • And more!
